Teens and Breast Cancer

With in the past year there has been a growing rate in breast cancer within teens.  A 13-year-old girl was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Her name is Taylor Thompson.  Breast cancer is found in women of ages 15-54.  It was a 19-year-old girl who had to have both breast removed 2 weeks after her doctor found a lump.  Younger women have to have more aggressive treatment than older women.  So how does this make you feel?  Have you ever imagined being treated for breast cancer at such a young age?

  This is scary the fact that you can get breast cancer at such a yuoung age. My grandma had breast cancer, they caught it in time.

  I don’t know what I would do if I was to get breast cancer. The treatment I am sure is scary as well.

  That’s why it’s important to go to the doctor.
